IJB Engineering recently carried out essential LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water) pipework repairs at the prestigious White City Living development. Led by engineer D. Dowset, the team responded swiftly to a reported leak.
Upon inspection, the source of the issue was identified: a leaking copper elbow joint. The team removed the insulation and isolated the flow and return lines before safely draining the system. A damaged section of the pipework was then cut out and replaced with a new 28mm copper elbow, crimped securely into place to ensure long-term reliability.
Once the repair was completed, the valves were reopened and the system tested to confirm pipework integrity. Ceiling tiles were replaced and the site was thoroughly cleared—leaving everything clean, safe, and functioning as it should.
At IJB Engineering, we take pride in delivering fast, effective, and high-quality mechanical services across the UK.
